Jammed Hybrid Theory last week, told my friend how Chester's voice is my favourite of all time. I feel quite glad I was praising him when he was still here and not one of the many who forgot him until he died.
Wish I tweeted him that I really liked 2 of his new songs though, I didn't know fans were throwing stuff on stage at their recent gigs when they played new stuff, saying he is a pussy and should die etc what he fuck. I know little old me wouldn't have helped much but he deserved better than what he got. It's so sad.

Australia's mental health system is f*cked and our diggers are paying for it badly. it's the same in the USA and I'm sure in the UK. our veterans come home and left to deal with the mental scars of war by themselves. |

I see a lot of people online attacking others for their apparent misunderstanding of mental health after posting comments similar to mine and Sic-jes's. Most of those posts are about this guy being selfish leaving 6 kids and a wife behind.....so its a fairly common first reaction to feel he did the wrong thing in regards to his responsibilities and family, and while people may be a bit in the dark about what depression, etc can do to a person, i don't think its fair people are attacked for that opinion. It may be misguided but that is someone who is thinking about whats left and whats coming for those children. One post in particular pointed out that to choose hanging over another form of suicide backs up his thoughts of the action being a selfish one. Someone's gonna find you like that, could be one of the kids, and a hanging dead body is not something anyone wants to see in the minds eye forever more. The drummer of an Aussie / NZ band Crowded House killed himself like this. A favourite band of mine and I was fan of this guy but hated that he did that, like that. Not even in his garage but outside in a park ready for tomorrows children and families to discover him. Not really a fan of LP or this Chester guy but I kept reading random stories yesterday and also found that his wife's tweeter thing was hacked and some morons decided to make up shit and post it online as her. Things like her only hanging around for the money and that she had been having affairs with other band members. Who the fuck thinks like this? Some people are twisted  |

Pretty fucked up how suicide is considered a mortal sin and that people think you will go to hell if you do it. After trying to put an end to a lifetime of suffering you get a fucking eternity of suffering like are you kidding me?
