ManUNkind is one the worst Metallica songs of all time, it's down there with some of the stuff on Reload/Lulu/St. Anger. No it's not, it's not even the worst song on the album. ManUNkind is forgettable while Murder One is just horrible! |

I remember back in the day thinking Whiplash was one of their best. That was my beginning love for alt picked crunchy guitars. Kill'em All is so damn crunchy.

The chorus kills it for me, it has such a cool eerie feel and then the chorus kicks in and ruins it in just the same way that just a bullet always did.

I've always enjoyed Rock am Ring 2008
That was the last tv broadcast with a good audio quality. After that, the TV streamed shows became unlistenable

This is really well done. I'm usually not big on these kind of things, but this one is pretty cool. It's like one of those weird dreams where things are slightly different, or you're at a Metallica show and they play a new song and you wake up with that kind of lost/wtf feeling.

Goddamn right. I'd honestly forgotten how spot on he used to be. It's a shame he can't (or won't?) play like that anymore, it sticks out like a sore thumb whenever I look at recent Metallica performances. |
