I mean it just has the similar progression, at least to me. I might be out of my gord, but I listened to the two songs the other night and the first like 2 minutes sounded pretty similar, like they kind of took some chords from it. I don't know maaaaaaannn! If you want to hear similarity , just listen to bridges of sighs.

I never really liked RTL or KEA as much. MOP and AJFA are my go to 80s Met albums.

I'm not sure Halo on Fire anymore, is it good or average?

"Halo on Fire" is bang average. The only good part is the ending.

Halo On Fire is "OK" in my books. The starkly different mood between most of the song and the ending is kinda off-putting. It's painfully obvious they're two different songs just stitched together for... Reasons, I guess?

Most of which is far better done than Halo.

Halo gives me the feels, so, works for me.
There is a theme of three notes/chords (with alt versions) that runs through most of the song.

I like the lyrics to Halo, the song has dream like quality which is interesting.

I have to say that Dream No More is starting to edge into classic territory.
I still cannot believe the difference in quality between this album and DM.

HW is one of the best thrash songs they've done.

It has such a strong vibe, and it's so goddamn heavy. The part in the end where Het starts singing over the main riff gets me every time, so good. And I gotta admit HW have grown massively on me, it's the perfect opening track. I just love that short sweet kick in the face. More 3 min songs please.

Yeah HW kicks major ass! If it had some sort of little harmony lick in there, it'd be perfect.
Dream has grown on me, the only thing that irks me is "ktulu Awaken" bit at the end of an awesome chorus.

"Hardwired" usually always gets me air guitaring. If I'm in public I have to consciously resist the urge to start 'playing along'.

Nah, there is not much going on in that video. Its great, but no where near as epic as one, Unforgiven or ANL.

ManUNkind is one the worst Metallica songs of all time, it's down there with some of the stuff on Reload/Lulu/St. Anger.
