Am I weird for loving that it is back? Regardless of quality of episodes. When that first episode started and I heard the tune... I almost peed my pants a little with excitement. I am glad it is back... don't think it is the best when it was at its peak, but.. I don't find it too bad. I need my x-files fix :) When it ended all those years ago I was sad.. *sob* and would say.. to anyone who would listen... it will be back! :)

I love that it's back too. Episode 1 was them using 1/6th of their time to try to bring the story up to speed. Episode 2 was half that, half classic X Files, and episode 3 was 100% back to classic X Files and is one of the best light hearted episodes of the entire series.
I can't wait for the last 3 and wish there were many more.
Every time that intro comes on, I have a massive grin on my face. So good to have one of my favourite TV series' back on.

I love that it's back too. Episode 1 was them using 1/6th of their time to try to bring the story up to speed. Episode 2 was half that, half classic X Files, and episode 3 was 100% back to classic X Files and is one of the best light hearted episodes of the entire series. I'll still be watching though, with hope The acting bothered me a little in the first, by the second they were back on track, and the third, well, you could drop it in the middle of Season 5 or something and you wouldn't know the difference. The internet is in uproar about the third episode because it's one of the lighthearted comedic episodes that helped give the show it's charm back during the original run, and people forget/or never saw that X Files was not 100% serious the whole time. |

If you hated the comedic episodes back in the original run, you'll hate Ep 3 and vice versa. |

The third episode is the only one I've liked so far, but I really liked it a lot. Episode 4 should be good based on title and the writer. After that two episodes written by Chris Carter don't get my hopes up.
