Who remembers him? He used to have amazing covers and had superman as avatar. Long story short, his fb profile showed up as 'friends i might know' and when i was checking his profile i found out that he died in October 2016  That's very sad, I didn't know him much and we were in and out of touch over the years but this was really sad :( |

Yeah it's terrible, my mate died last year a couple of months before his wedding, fallout was awful for everyone.

As you probably know my mate died too this December, my boss at work was diagnosed with cancer just prior to that, he have had extensive chemo and seemed to get well just fine. Started working again last month on part time, seemed like everything was going in the right direction. This morning we got the news, Saturday he went in for his random check and it showed he had had a major relapse, basically the sickness had decided to spread throughout his entire body in a couple of days. The doctors stopped treatment right away because nothing could be done anymore. They have given him a max of 2 months before it will all be over, he can now say goodbye to his family and we will never see him again. I didn't have a particular close relationship with him other than he was my boss and we had loads of fun together, but stuff like this just hits you right in the head like a hammer. |

But really early stage, so it's completely treatable with on going therapy. If he hadn't have fallen, he'd be brown bread within a year or two as the later stage of his disease is a death sentence. |

I remember Warren. I didn't know him though, only thru a few posts on metbb, but its still not nice to hear he is no longer around. I don't use it anymore but his recording of TGTBTUgly was for a long time my ringtone. He thought that was great. I feel we have spoken about this before Mob, and you asked for a copy of any of his stuff. I've still not tripped over those recordings but I'm sure they are still on a HDD somewhere amongst my crap. I have a memory that there was a cover of the Simpsons theme in there too |

Cancer is just evil because you hear stories like that so often. That's how Ad-Rock of the Beastie Boys died. He had some "minor" throat cancer, they treated it and he was in full remission. Went back for a routine check-up and it had spread everywhere. He died not long after. Fuck that shit man...

hugs to you all, have my experiences with family members.. cancer touches us all. Life is a cruel mistress for sure. Been asked to go see doc today after my procedure last week, hoping for some tedious, routine stuff and general normal feedback but the brain always goes for worst case scenario in the wee hours of the night.
