Nah, it was a laugh.
Go easy on it, new show, got to find it's feet.
One thing I dont like is the track. The track sucks, how can they open cars up on that turd. Surely there's an airfield somewhere they could have used.

And agree that the track is rubbish, although we haven't seen too much of it. It is great to have Top Gear back, it just needs some tweaking.

Yeah it was not as good as the first one, and to be fair, i usually have a beer when I watch it and that didn't happen The American was quite funny yesterday. Agree re- the celeb. But I think that was more a gag for the live audience than for the tv audience

Much better episode this week...but still so many reused jokes. There's something missing and I can't quite pinpoint what it is. It's like they think people only liked the show for stupid gags, The whole Italy thing could have been awesome, but instead it was just a few shots of the amazing scenery, then the joke about Hammond and his car being obnoxious over and over again.
And of course the stupid celebrity gag AGAIN. I guess this will be in every episode.
No car review. No lap times. Just recycled gags.

Yeah better episode. Little too much playing up. But I'm still thinking the recycled gags are for the live audience over the TV audience.

But that's just stupid since the live crowd makes up about 0.00000001 % of the viewers. They should just cut that stuff from the broadcast then I was hungover yesterday (who would have figured ?) so I saw some of the Top Gear special episodes where they go to some random country and do stupid shit. I miss those times so much, I can't count how many times I've re-watched those episodes.

Something I haven't seen before, Top Gear: The races. It's basically just reruns of their old races. Thing is, Matt Leblanc is presenting it and he is really just putting the whole thing down. It's quite awkward really, anyone know when it's from?

Chris Evans is fucking annoying...heard he overdid the shouty thing. However Matt Le Blanc is now heading the show? zzzzzzzz

Soo... I just watched the first episode of season 24, and I gotta say: This was an improvement. The studio shit is not good at all at the moment, but that can be improved massively - there is potential. The films (testing supercars and road trips with challenges) seems like it's gonna be totally awesome this season based on the first few films this episode.

Yep, that was definitely much better. A little rough around the edges and the banter seemed a bit forced, but that'll iron itself out. I'll be happy to keep watching now.
