I think they will get rid of Chris. He's really not gone down well at all.

Perhaps. I also think that (episode 1 certainly) suffered from the fact that there wasn't an outright car expert. With Clarkson et al you knew they had a history with cars of writing about them and working on them etc.

I think it will obviously change over time. That's just inevitable.

I hope the three buffoons make a video of Clarkson trying to do something practical every Sunday until their Amazon show starts.

Thought tonight's episode was great. *shrug* Just think if they had the Foo Fighters on every week, it'd be your favorite show of all-time.

Not sure why we're throwing around personal insults...
Oh yes that's right. Because I like something other people don't so things have to get personal.

Has the BBC ever States their reasoning for hiring an American sitcom "star" to ghost they're British motoring show? Because it seems like a terrible idea that someone would have recognized as a terrible idea.

As this is the basis of the article, the "story" is clearly bollocks.

Chris Evans has resigned.
I'm fine with that. I've got nothing against the others. They're way more natural and less shouty.
If It was up to me to choose a replacement - i'd get Robert "Kryten" Llewellyn to do it.

I think it's a shame actually. Because it's him bowing to public pressure and adopting the (US TV) trend of binning something if it isn't instantaneously a hit. He was (subjectively) hitting the wrong notes this series but that could have been ironed out for season 2. He could have learned (and the production team too) and changed and grown and reshaped. Instead the chorus of bitching and booing has forced him to resign. Shame.
The question is now - who will they get to front the show. They need a main 'guy'.
Thoughts?

He's also being investigated for a past sexual assault accusations, including flashing female production staff and bullying when his "advances" were spurned... Might have had something to do with it, or a fabulously convenient get out for BBC management
