The End is near.
I'm seeing them in August, and despite them being Bill-less and Ozzy's voice being subpar now, seeing Tony and Geezer playing live (and well, SEEING Ozzy for the first time too) is more than worth everything. Did anyone give The End EP a listen? All of the songs were clear b-sides, but there were still some good riffs hidden in there.

I debated going to see them when they came near Toronto on that tour, but the prices were a lot ($100) and even though it's Sabbath, I just could't bring myself to pay that much.

That's how much they were in CT, but the Massachusetts show had inexplicably lower prices; the most expensive ticket for there was about the same price as the cheap seats in CT!

If there was a cheaper option I would have gone. Even if it were half that, which is still pricy for a concert ticket, way at the back but still.
For comparison, I'm seeing Maiden in April and it was $120 but I'm like Row C or something.
And Maiden are still killing it live.

I saw the Sabbath reunion back in the early 2000s with all four members, was the fourth time seeing Ozzy, I had an amazing ticket but then traded it with a scalper for two nosebleeds for my friend and I. I could literaly touch the ceiling and back wall of the Bell Center and there were so many people smoking CRACK up there that I got a really good buzz going with my beer and weed and all the second hand CRACK. Looking down onto the stage from way up there was like staring down off a cliff. The show was still awsome even though the sound up there was pure shit. Got to hear all the classics.

Seeing them in April. Saw them on their last tour, and Ozzy was in surprisingly decent form. Was, and will be again, unreal to hear all those classics live in front of me. I read they are playing Hand of Doom this time around

In Finland, the warm-up bands for the Black Sabbath gig are Opeth, Rival Sons and Amorphis. Ticket prices are pretty steep, I'm still kinda on the fence. I did see them during the 2005 tour, though. WITH BILL WARD, NO LESS.

They are playing at Copenhell this year, unfortunately it's placed the exact same days as Tinderbox, where Rammstein, Volbeat and Dizzy Mizz Lizzy will be performing. So no Sabbath for me :(

I'm sure they'll have some UK dates to end the tour later in the year, so I'll probably go to one of those shows. Possibly Download too.
Have only given The End EP one listen so far. Nothing really stood out but I need to give it a bit more time.

Saw them in the 13 tour and I absolutely loved the show, I didn't mind Ozzy's voice one bit, everything sounded fantastic. I hope they stop by again on this tour.

Saw them last night. Ozzy sounded great and Tony and Geezer tight heavy/tight etc. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Black Sabbath and Children of the Grave were unreal.

Yeah, Children of the Grave went off, was awesome.
Lines for merch were ridiculous. By the time I got to purchase they had no more The End EPs. Not pleased, but I did get to save $30

There's no way The End ep doesn't get a wide release after the tour is over anyway.

Well I hope so. They were pushing the "Only available at the shows" a lot

Yeah, I do expect it to happen like that. Someone needs to tell their merchandise quality control guy that their stubby holders suck.

Not a huge fan of the band but always like Embryo preceding Children.
