I'm hearing everyone scream "announce tour dates!!" but is anyone like "I've seen them enough times, I'm tired of the set list, the ticket prices aren't worth it anymore.." or is it just me?

If they do end up playing stadiums here in Australia, then I will consider passing. There's nothing worse than sitting/standing 1km from a band, who in reality could be anyone at that point, you can't make out who's on stage, and listening to awful delayed/echoing sound.
If they play indoors, then I'll be going to multiple shows, no two ways about it.

Stadium gigs suck. I hate them.
I will still go though, because they never come to the East coast.

I've seen them live three times, all of them outdoors, and I will continue to do so. Outdoor gigs doesn't bother me as long as I have a GA ticket and I can get to the front row as near as possible. It will be interesting to see them indoors in a few days and especially on an in-the-round stage.

Just to clarify my stance:
Outdoor festival shows = awesome Stadium shows = awful

I was at the big 4 Yankee stadium 2011. I highly doubt they'll top that show. 😎

I feel somewhat teh same, but don't think I could actually do it (pass on a stadium show) I can't imagine sitting at home knowing Metallica are playing live in the city. I still regret not purchasing a ticket for the night of the Outlaw Torn debut. Had seen them a number of times by that point and was literally driving past Rod Laver just before the gig.

Now I'd say that show's probably still my favorite full set. That acoustic show in 2014 though >>>>. I should get some of the new ones, I used to check every gig out and get it if the set was good.

Nah, I can't miss them if they're around, I'd go nuts. Back on the St Anger tour, the shows here sold out and I had to scramble for tickets in Ottawa. The 2 nights here in Montreal they where playing, I ended up working and travelled home on a subway car full of fans who just saw the shows. It was the grossest feeling even though I knew I was seeing them a city over in a few more days.
I'd rather spend the money and have an alright time, then sit at home and regret not getting tickets.
And as always, the closer it comes to show day, the more excited I get. Its hard to willingly fork out of the cash for a show that's possibly a year down the road, but in the end, its always worth it for me.
That fucking rush when the lights go out and The Ecstasy of Gold starts up is priceless.

I've said for a couple of years that if they come back to DK without new material I would pass (I probably wouldn't). Now I'm going to 4 shows in a week and I can't wait. New stuff is always so interesting and awesome + indoor in the round = best concert experience possible...

I saw them in 1997 and that was enough for me.

You haven't felt any interest in seeing them live over the past 20 years? How come?

Yes. May pass this tour as well. Seen them 15 times. Last one in 2012.
