I believe the lead guitarist who I dreamt could never go wrong has gone too far. He has compared President Trump to a dictator drawing parallels with 1930 Nazi Germany. I admit I don't know too much about the US constitution but with two houses and the supreme court. Not forgetting the constitution and article 25 they are enough checks in place to curb his wilder excesses. I think its time Metallica booted Kirk out of the band. The main core of Lars/Hetfield have always insisted they don't do politics and they should ask Kirk to shut up or leave.

When Howard Stern asked who they liked (Hillary or Trump) James said "who's the third guy?" so I would guess he's not a big Trump supporter.
Interestingly enough they all seemed to agree with that sentiment to an extent so maybe they aren't all that different politically after all.

He didn't have a media outburst like Kirk has done a few times - Lars was asked during an interview if he would move back to Denmark if Trump was elected, and I think he said something along the lines of "if things get really bad then yeah I might".
