Grabbed a couple of golden circle tickets for my brother and his missus for the Melbourne show.
It’s been a productive day....luckily I am “working” from home. Still wrecked from Download and Slayer last night too!

Slayer sideshow sold out here..... I was still undecided, guess that solves the problem.
I'm watching the presale madness continue on other site. SpiderDan earns his $$$'s during these times. Everyone's process gettign stuck on T-shirt option, what a head fuck and stressful if you are trying to secure a $3.5k ticket and you can see it in your cart but can;t act on it.

All good, I have my first 2 golden circle GA tix for adelaide oval purchased.
The page where you enter the code had the bottom "proceed with code" button blocked from my view on my phone so all I could see was the top "continue" button for the plebs. I was continuing with that accidentally.
Just have to get more tix at 2pm on a mates 5th member account for some other dudes and I'm set.
I can't commit to any other shows at this stage as I can't get time off work.

Wanted to at least lock in flights to one show. Need to work out the rest. Will hold out on booking Sydney flights just in case there is a second Melbourne/Syd show announced (if if they modify the Black pass to let us into it!)...Brissy looks to be about $200 return atm. Not sure if I should hold out for a sale or not.

It's cool seeing the excitement here after all the bitching about the US tour. Hopefully you guys get some rarities.
It'll be worth it either way. They still put on a good show. I hope you all enjoy and look forward to your reviews.

Was keen for Metallica + Slipknot @ the big open air stadium on GA Front Golden Circle for the moshpits/stage proximity etc., but for close to $390 a tkt Shortest Straw pkg, or ~$260 for standard tkt in that area, no thanks.
Way too rich for us.
Have seen both before several times, some awesome shows.. glad for that \m/

Jokes aside, remember when they played No Leaf Clover, Unforgiven 3 and Cyanide life the firrst and only time in years at the start of this US tour a year ago? I hope we get that good shit down here. They haven’t disappointed in terms of setlists going back to 2004, with Unnamed Feeling, The Thing That Should Not Be, Ride The Lightning, Call of Ktulu, ...and Justice For All, Turn the Page, Through The Never, Jump In the Fire, Breadfan, Shortest Straw, Of Wolf and Man, Damage Inc., Unforgiven 3, Orion, and My Friend of Misery being just a handful of songs they have brought out the last few tours here, which I have personally been lucky enough to see.
I know we’ll see mostly greatest hits, but I would love a couple of deep cuts...given what I have seen already, I would LOVE to see some King Nothing, Bleeding Me, Unforgiven 2, Carpe Diem Baby, etc..

They also did low man's lyric acousticaly here in 98. I should go through all the sets I've seen live and make a list of what I've seen for shits and gigs.
I'd love to see un2 this time around.

Hope you guys are right.
I've already accepted these shows will cater for the more casual fan rather than people like us. The Black album type fan will pay these high price tickets but expect to hear all the obvious songs like Master and Sandman.
For me, I've seen them heaps and seen them play some deeper cuts....I want maximum HWTSD songs. Would be upset not to see Confusion appear at least once.
Bloke on MMM radio yesterday rang in upset that he went online to buy tix but at $188 for nosebleeds he decided not to. I wonder how many people balked at the "cheap" tickets?

Both Perth and NZ are on me and the wife's must-do list so having those 2 places at each end of this tour may work out nicely.
