hit the lights - the thrill of being on stage.
whiplash - kicking ass for the fans.

Jump In The Fire is definitely positive, from Satan's point of view.  Attitude sounds pretty positive to me, at least by Metallica standards, as does Better Than You. A lot of the "positive" Metallica songs have this powertripping macho feel to them, like "Damn, I'm a tough guy, look at me, I'm so cool!" |
