did you ever see David live? I did not. : / Did you? twice in 2004 for the REALITY TOUR. he was brilliant! I flew to Adelaide because I was assured he wasn't coming to Perth I was like, I ain't missing out on David f*cking BOWIE! then 2 months later after I have bought tickets, airline booked, hotel. a Perth date is announced I don't travel well, so when they announced a Perth show it was like... really? but it turned out fine. I got to see David twice & the Adelaide concert was the better of the 2. I had 7th row in front of Gail Ann Dorsey (bass player). In Perth I ended up on the rail in front of Earl Slick (guitar). there were seats for the Perth concert as well, I was in row B. but as soon as David walked out onstage a flood of people ran up on my left and I was like wtf?? so I got up and joined em and ended up on the rail. I only wish I'd of reacted sooner lol. you can see some of my newspaper clippings on the Perth page & my ticket is on both the Adelaide & Perth page. my username was ILOVEDeNiro back then. David Bowie, A Reality Tour. February 23rd 2004 < so glad someone took those photos, brings back memories. loved the grey zoot suit. David Bowie, A Reality Tour. March 1st 2004 < I don't remember the Perth show as well, which seems unusual as it was a week after Adelaide. again I'm really glad someone took those photos.

I can't believe it's not Kiss! I think this is great actually. I would suggest these guys have at some point been a KISS cover band. Paul has (or had) a unique voice but this singer nails it. Bass player has the Gene bounce of the 70s too. Cool vid for sure.

Yeah, pretty sure they have. They've released two EP's of original songs that sound similar to this and they've got songs sung by "Gene", "Ace" and "Peter" too.

Yeah, do that. Hehe, their Paul and Gene are the best but both Ace and Peter are okay I guess, and the songs they're singing definitely sound like songs the real ones would be singing. I think the guy who's Gene might actually do the Peter vocals as well.

Steve Vai, had shoulder surgery. Wrote a track with only his left hand any way. (which he also injured)

it feels a bit...safe to me, you know? alcest and ulver have actually done black metal properly with the sweet clean vocals and it sound sincere/nice whereas this does feel a bit like a gimmick. they're a decentish thrash/black/"post" metal sounding band and they have decentish dream pop vocals but they seem to excel at neither. i certainly want to listen to more of this band though, there's enough of a hook to pull me in!

One of my favorite bands, no doubt. Their first and third albums are great more or less from start to finish. I feel that Without you I'm nothing is not quite as strong But it has their best song on it though: Burger Queen. One of the best songs ever for me.
