I'm listening to the audio now. he only paid $40 to be there? why is he complaining? that's nothing! The whole thing was laughably embarrassing for all. I can see why he is carrying on. Gene seems completely out of touch and thinks a mayor speech and a salespitch works well within a live set. The ego has landed  If I didn't find him and his stuff hilarious I'd be offended |

The ego has landed If I didn't find him and his stuff hilarious I'd be offended if the ceremony and sales pitch didn't affect the length of the concerts ie: cutting a few songs then I wouldn't of worried. but I'm not a KISS fan. I think Gene's ego is the size of a planet but like you I find him to be quite funny. I can't believe he said to the guy "take a swing a me" wtf? I saw You Am I live twice in 2001. I stopped listening to them after that... not sure why?  I was a fan from the release of Hourly Daily, great album. haven't listened to them in ages, dang! |

Hourly Daily was definitely a highpoint, great album that one. (Bartman likes this one) Tim's done a heap of stuff since... solo, with others plus You Am I are still active. |

At what point did Zakk get all tough and Kerry Kingish? I remember Zakk being all glamorous and stuff with Ozzy, then one day he was all beefed up and dirty looking.

I didn’t like Zakk’s music/vocals for years, then one day it just clicked with me and now I love it. BLS albums remind me of Foo Fighters albums in the sense that they will all mostly have a bunch of really awesome songs that I love, and a bunch of mediocre songs that are forgettable. The new album is pretty melodic but also kinda Sabbathy which is cool. I like most songs off this one, there’s some great riffs/guitar parts. |

Zakk and Dimebag have completely different styles of guitar playing, no idea why it’s even suggested. |

So I randomly decided to see what this guy's band was up to, I used to work with him in a restaurant and we drank a few times here and there. Reading through some YouTube comments and I find out this guy is dead! And for a couple of years now. Wow. 28. Life is short.
Here's a cool video, the ending is great. He's the singer, Nick. Damn :(

New Black Label Society out today. On track 3, so far so good. Loving it. I met and saw BLS live in 2006. I haven't listened to them since 'Shot To Hell'. is the new cd a greatest hits? currently I'm listening to ' Sam's Town' by The Killers. I really like their new album ' Wonderful Wonderful' big difference between the 2 albums. but then there is 11 years between them. |
