I got bored of it after 4 songs. They sound all the same.

I love the album but really can't understand how could they let it out with such weak production. Kevin Shirley really ruined it for me.
Two songs that I can't get into are Lost in a Lost World(great lyrics, though) and Death of the Celts. While the latter is not bad I thought it is too long and those happy riffs didn't do much for me. the former features a great outro but I don't enjoy the song much.
Darkest Hour, The Parchment, TWOTW, Senjustu, Hell on Earth, Stratego, The Time Machine, Days of Future Past are great songs. Some of the best songs they have ever done. The Time Machine features a very similar passage with Man on the Edge but is it a bad thing? I don't think so...
I found a Bruce only version of Hell on Earth -not sure about its accuracy though - and "love in anger, life in danger..." part is mindblowing. It sends shivers down my spine as I thought it would. Entire song is incredible as far as the vocal melodies go...Brilliant work by Bruce Dickinson. Very strong lyrics too.
I'm absolutely fine with Maiden's /Steve's? approach to longer, repetitive songs and using the classic Maiden melodies. That's something I love about Maiden. Having said that the album could have been much better with 10-15 minutes of trimming.

That song gets me in a trance that I never want to end. Love this album, one of their best.

I hope they come Down here again - missed out on the Legacy tour when they cancelled the trip due to you know what. China really did a number on us....made us miss out on all sorts of things

Maiden is on my bucket list. Maybe one day they'll Headline the Heavy Montreal festival here then for sure I'd go, but usually when they come and play an arena here, the tickets are way to pricey for my cheap ass with some shitty opening act. Would love to catch them though one day.

The tickets for the London legacy shows went so quickly a few years back. Yeah tix here did the same. I almost missed out, found a single available seat and decided Id go solo. Missed out anyway. Make it happen sicjes. Just pay it, ive seen em a few times now, never been disappointed. Maiden are in that class of gotta-see before i cant, like metallica, stones, McCartney, etc

Yeah, for sure. Megadeth were here last night, never saw them either. Maiden and Megadeth are both on my list, not the biggest fan of both bands but definitely got to see them one day before it's too late.

Nice jayc. You have inspired me to grab out my vinyl for a listen. Not gonna lie, that LP probably hasnt been out its sleeve since 1990. I was recently in that area of my collection...I played Somewhere in Time, Maiden Japan (sounds soooo good) and a 3 track picture disc from Life after Death period

I got a ticket for next September in Perth. Will be my first time seeing Iron Maiden 😄 Well done Bunny, you are gonna have a great night, Maiden always deliver. I bought a seat and a floor ticket for Adelaide, couldnt decide....will sell one off I guess or maybe encourage one of the kids to get involved. Seen em a few times now, 1st show was World Slavery tour, so yes Im probably too old to keep the floor ticket
