Don't want Dortmund or any of the Spanish teams. I reckon we'd be comfortably beaten over two legs. Think we'll struggle regardless of who we get though.
I see both us and Utd have been charged over crowd problems last night. We've been charged with illicit chants but they haven't. How the fuck has that happened? I don't doubt that some of our fans may have sung/chanted offensive stuff, but their fans could be clearly heard singing Hillsborough and Heysel songs in both legs. Can't say I'm surprised by UEFA though, they're an absolute joke.
Anyway, CL draw, EL to come later:
Wolfsburg vs Real Madrid Bayern Munich vs Benfica Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid PSG vs Man City

That draw is such a scam. Once again Real Madrid get's one of the easiest opponents. Just like last year and the year before. Also, what a coincidence that Real, Barca and Bayern avoided each other.

Holy shit. The referee in the Braga Fenerbahce game was atrocious. One of the worst referees I have ever seen. What a thief.

Holy shit. The referee in the Braga Fenerbahce game was atrocious. One of the worst referees I have ever seen. What a thief. Three red cards wasn't it? What happened there? Only one was a game incident, second yellow. Two were towards the very end, just pissed off players and harmless confrontations by the sidelines. But yeah, atrocious refereeing. First Braga goal was offside (marginally offside, so not a scandalous call), the cross that resulted in the penalty was from an offside position too I think, and it was never a penalty. The ball was kicked too close, the defender had both arms tugged to his chest so it was not like he could exactly evade the ball, so it was always ball to the hand and not handball. And it was his second yellow, so quadruple punishment (offside, not a foul, not a second yellow, and penalty resulting in a goal.) There was also a Van Cuntsie goal incorrectly flagged for offside in the first leg, so Fenerbahce was quite unlucky in this tie.

speaking of refs, when will they grow a pair and award penalties for grabbing in corners? Robert Huth was being held so much by two Palace players his shirt came off entirely

stupid Shirley missed a sitter, it would have been 3 nil :(
Unfortunately Real can comfortably revert the result. Since they're so far behind in the league they'll rest everyone then come fresh on Tuesday and rip zeh germans a new one.

Another loss for Barca. That's one point from their last three games, and now they're only three ahead of Atletico and four ahead of Real with six games to go.

What a match at Anfield tonight. 2-0 and 3-1 down, came back to win 4-3. Lovren of all people getting the winner. Thought we didn't stand a chance against Dortmund over two legs. In with a decent shout of winning the cup now.

Probably the best and most exiting match I've seen for a few years. Well done Liverpool. I think Sevilla will take this one home again

Didn't realise the European draws were this early.
Atletico Madrid vs Bayern Munich Man City vs Real Madrid
Could have another Madrid derby on our hands in the final. Or Pep's current team vs Pep's future team.

Or Pep's current team vs Pep's future team. Nah everyone knew that would happen, Real Madrid have gotten the easiest opponent in every knockout match in what seems like, forever. It really is kind of ridiculous

Not sure who I wanted in the draw. Was always gonna be a tough one. Happy enough though.

It's desperate times at Liverpool when the Europa League is the only competition we're doing well at.

Another loss for Barca. Atletico level on points now, Real just one behind. It'll be a close call, just like a few seasons ago.

They are really throwing their season down the shitter, literally handing everything away. A month ago I was convinced they would be the first team ever to take home the treble 2 years straight, now I don't think they'll win anything. Maybe the cup. Huge meltdown

Dominating performance by Spurs at Stoke yesterday. I actually think Spurs still have a decent chance to win it. Leicester have some tricky fixtures left, and will be without Vardy for at least one of them. I think that they will lose points, the question is how many?

It would be a massive discredit to their season so far on my part, but on paper Leicester would always struggle in these last 5. I'm not optimistic at all, don't know why. Hopefully Utd, Everton and Chelski keep being a shambles and lose to them. It would also be the proper change of the guard, the reigning champions losing to the new ones.

I'm of the opinion that Spurs are playing the finest football in PL this season, but I really want Leicester to to go all the way

It's desperate times at Liverpool when the Europa League is the only competition we're doing well at. Just got to keep riding out it out till summer when Klopp makes his changes. I'm guessing it'll take 2min into the Summer transfer for Benteke to be sold. 5 min if Klopp sleeps in that day.

It's been a while since a lower league Scottish update. All that matters is that, last day of the season, is an Angus derby, Brechin vs Forfar (I think at Glebe Park). Forfar currently in 10th place (the automatic relegation spot) with 34 points and Brechin in 9th with 36 (and drawn into the playoff for League 2). Stenhousemuir (8th) are on 37 points and Cowdenbeath (7th) 39 and play each other this weekend (the second last of the season).
Absolutely buzzing.

There's a load of dud footballers from the Brendan Rodgers era, he might have to buy 5-6 new (German lol) players in key positions. I'm not very optimistic, LFC seem like a long way off the top teams.

Klopp has done a good job with an average squad. The league position is a bit disappointing, but the League Cup and Europa League runs have been a positive, and there's still a chance of winning the latter and getting Champions League footy next season. There's some work to be done with the squad but I'm optimistic that with a few good singings in the summer we can be pushing for the Champions League places again next season (and maybe the title if next season is as crazy as this one). Just thinking of some of the stupid points we've thrown away recently (2-0 up against Sunderland, drew 2-2, 2-0 up against Southampton, lost 3-2) we could've been in with a shout of the top four this season, but that's all ifs and buts.
I think Spurs have been the best team this season. I've still got a feeling they'll win it (which likely means they won't).
