Fkn Liverpool almost lost to Arsenal after winning 2-0. Klopp has done well finishing 4th with the 6th best squad, but his blind spots with the goalie, center backs and DM are baffling. It's been dire ever since Suarez left. |

spurs won, brechin weren't allowed to play (and thus lose) and tomorrow i am taking my new girlfriend to watch her first milan derby (on television, mind). this week could be incredible but also could be the worst.

Under a cozy blanket in front of a patchy online stream? :P i fucking wish, i might've actually seen the match that way! lad at the pub who originally said they'd put it on for me (not that i am a regular or anything...) was like "shit, there's two british matches on tonight and the rights contract... so we hit the """cocktails""" (alcopops, curaçao/creme de menthe etc and red bull) instead but when i got that notification through at about 10pm saying that patrick cutrone scored and that donnarumma was being a brick wall - between the football and the girl, i had this moment of clarity and realisation that Everything would be Okay. so i'm happy with the result. (also the games shown instead of, y'know the co-biggest derby in the world, in the cup quarter finals, being gattuso's first derby in charge after a month, were: hibernian vs hearts, which is fair enough because it's a big derby, 4th vs 5th in the league and it's scottish so like i get it. manchester city vs newcastle, can fuck off and die. random english league game between a team with three genuine fans outside of manchester, already like 15 points ahead in a shite league this year. no passion no fun i hate it and honestly nobody cared for it, bar the paddy power betting geeks crowded on their phones at the bar. forza, tho) |

It's easier to blame the players' lack of fight (don't pick them to play then) but they genuinely move around the pitch sometimes as a team with minimal coaching instructions.
