New manager, same old problem. Trying to fit a system around the players instead of the other way round. The team would be better off without Rooney. I guess Big Sam doesn't have the stones to drop him though. I've never understood why so many managers do this ? Football is not about pleasing certain players, it's about putting together to best squad with the best chances of winning matches. So stupid. A good example of not doing this is Pep in City, he is out to make results, not nursing the club stars. |
