I watched it live on Periscope last night (where were you guys :( ) and it was INCREDIBLE. Until Hardwired at least. I actually yelped when they started playing Hero. Hardwired was messed up so colossally, probably just as bad as when they forgot the chorus of Harvester (twice). Hardwired... to fuck up? |

No doubt it would be the better choice, but I doubt they would gain much promotion playing something at a show like that. + they probably achieved the opposite with that performance  |

Hero sounds amazing minus the dork singing over James. But hey that means they've been rehearsing it, I think we will see it slip into a set soon, maybe in south America.

They did Hardwired again tonight and didn't fuck it up. Second show has been way better. James voice is just fucking amazing.

It's almost like he completely is lost on the guitar. During night two during Sandman it literally sounds like me when I attempt to play something. |

Yeah I'm just looking for an excuse I guess. Lars is the same when he tries to improvise fills, it just ends up with a snare roll with a flam and a crash to get back into time. I wish they'd just try to play like the albums first.
James just keeps progressing but the others not so much. (rob not included)...

It just frustrates me because James may have had the best two shows vocally since the black album and they will be ruined because of the horrible out of key solos Kirk played. Oh well at least Hero and Bleeding Me were good. Hardwired was alright the second night as well. I like the start and stop thing they did during the verses.

Blind man was good, also hero was ok and I liked bleeding me but I just really didn't dig this at all. I didn't like sandman either. Hopefully it was just because of the sub par quality I watched.
I liked last year's though, I really love in my life, I thought that was brilliant. I felt this performance was bad though.

It annoys me that even though they can come up with these amazing re-arrangements of songs, like Disposable Heroes, All Within My Hand, Enter Sandman, and that they have some brilliant songs that naturally translate well to acoustic, like Hero of the Day, Bleeding Me, Mama Said, Low Man's Lyric. Until It Sleeps, Unforgiven 2, Where The Wild Things Are etc....but instead they break out fucking Hardwired, Seek and Bells and don't change a single part of them.
Instead of James giving an amazing, heartfelt, soulful performances which we all know he excels at, he instead plays Seek and Destroy like he's playing Wembley Stadium, complete with the "WOAH-OH, WOAH-OH, WOAH-OH"'s at the end, and all his other usual ad-libs.
I'm happy they played Hero and Bleeding, but overall these shows were such missed opportunities when you consider what Het's been doing at Acoustic 4 A Cure the last few years, and the set that they played at MusicCares.
