Hurray for today! And tomorrow!
What do you guys hope for?
A full band Until it Sleeps and Hero of the Day would put a big smile on my face. Low mans Lyrics would be cool as well.
No NEM! Fuck that shit. A few new reworkings of other songs would be sweet too.
Maybe When a Blind Man Cries since its being rereleased.

I would like some new covers and reinterpretation of their own tunes. HOTD is a good choice.
Looking forward to seeing the setlist later.

That's a pretty cool set, but I just can't imagine Hardwired being a very good acoustic song. I definitely want to hear it though.

So yeah. Setlist: I haven't heard anything yet but Hardwired, Seek and Sandman acoustic? Initial thoughts are not good. Loving the fact that HOTD AND BM are in the set though

Why is the tour thread locked? No idea. Slip of the finger perhaps. Opened now though.

And if you're going to sing - know the focking words. EDIT - And the focking melody.

Goddamn... that line "Excuse me while I tend to how I feel / There's things returned to me that still seem real" give me goosebumps every single time. I think that, for me, might be James' best lyric.

Man, Het's singing as if they'd still been performing regularly for the last 15 years.

I can't wait to get my grubby hands on the SBD of this show. Need to hear Sandman and HOTD in high quality.

Also that Sandman re-arrangement is fantastic. It also just hit me that the 2007 Bridge School performance was 9 years ago. The 10 years between the 1997 and 2007 performances feels like 20 years, and the time between the 2007 one and today feels like about 3 years. Time, it's taken it's toll on me.

Looking at the clips on Judas, looks like they didn't change Seek at all, and it's played 100% as they normally do, complete with Het's vocal ad-libs at the end. Sounds pretty shit.
People are also saying Hardwired acoustic was dreadful. It'll still be worth buying it for the awesome Hero and Bleeding Me performance (Bleeding is always great). and the Sandman re-jig.
I wonder what they'll play tomorrow.

I feel like 2006 to now has been one era and gone very quickly...maybe you chop up 06-08 and 08-now but time has flown. I remember watching Woodstock 99 in 2004 and it feeling like a long 5 years, and now it's only been 5 years since Lulu. Fucking crazy. Hetfield (when you can actually hear him on that video) sounds incredible during Hero...I love their stripped back gigs where he sings lower and with more grit.

They need to play more Load/Reload songs at their actual shows. This stuff is great.

Bleeding me sounded awesome (even though they cut the "I am the beast part" out)! Hero of the day was great but I wish Kirk would've been more on point during it.

I watched it live on Periscope last night (where were you guys :( ) and it was INCREDIBLE. Until Hardwired at least. I actually yelped when they started playing Hero. Hardwired was messed up so colossally, probably just as bad as when they forgot the chorus of Harvester (twice).
