Some strange choices being made of late. its good to finally see a new stage set-up for the tour, i have to agree with this ^ obviously it takes a lot of work and maybe it wasnt ready in time, but it seems like a bad move to kick your tour off with an old stage that had barely anything to do with the new album. took a lot of wind out the tour's sails for me anyway. and the visuals for sanitarum looked really cheesy, usually they are good like the "recent" ones for bells, one, master, leper messiah in 2006 or the god that failed on the black album tour. maybe i just need time to warm up to if but so far the world magnetic setup seemed more coherent (and the band seemed way more into it. i know its almost a decade later, james does seem to be warming up a bit now but after christmas its like they didnt even like their own album that much?). i think no matter how many bells and whistles they add, the show needs to be changed from the core to make it more interesting. pacing, setlist, interaction etc. but im overreacting and its way too early to say the M and A at each end of the stage does look god, and having he kit at the end for the last song. looked great in snakepit videos. also what did those two big hardwired beachballs above the stage do? |

They have been using the Padded Cell footage for Sanitarium for quite a while. Since the by request tour, maybe a bit longer.

Kirks guitar painfully out of tune again. I don't understand how this hasnt been addressed in the last 3-4 years it's been happening. On the other hand, what are they supposed to do, swap his guitar half way through every song?
