I still haven't seen Blazing Saddles even though i've got the DVD, will watch it at the weekend. RIP. Do that. And if you report back with anything less than "one of the funniest films of all time" I shall beat you around the face and neck with a sock full of tangerines.

Blazing Saddles is much better than Spaceballs. Totally. If only for this scene: How Mel Brooks ever got away with some of the content in BS is mind-bending.

Blazing Saddles is much better than Spaceballs. Totally. If only for this scene: How Mel Brooks ever got away with some of the content in BS is mind-bending. Because of how the sheriff is played. It's not a racist film, it's a film about how stupid racists are.

I need to watch the scene where Gene is stamping loudly in front of Pryor because I think that Pryor is telling Gene to stamp louder but Gene should not hear him but he responds to him.
I may be remembering it wrong.
