i'm into this sub-genre of riddim sub-genre in which close to me by the cure is extensively sampled and re-sampled i'm not sure who this is for, i know lightning master appreciates a good pop song and if i recall, also appreciates the cure, but if anybody else is intrigued!

Rolling Stones just released a new single. Their first new original music in 8 years.
I liked it quite a lot!

I'm still waiting on Joe Satriani's new album which was suppose to of been shipped to me 2 weeks ago the only reason I ordered it online was because it was gonna be autographed. a bit frustrating as I saw it in store today. today I bought a Manic Street Preachers album, it was release in 2018. I haven't listened to them in ages. I know someone in this thread is a fan but I'm too lazy to look back and find out

I haven't listened to them in ages. I know someone in this thread is a fan but I'm too lazy to look back and find out it might not be me you are thinking of but the manics are one of my favourite bands! that's a really really good record. as much as i love the sharp, angular sounding stuff they have, the manics are really very good when they sound expansive and tender.

New Ulcerate seems quite good. I missed the last two so can't really tell if they're still on an unblemished record, but I still think they really need a proper vocalist.

That low, or what do you mean? the guitar is almost near their knees. Someone familiar to all of us used to do that too in his youth and was considered to be maybe the best rhythm guitar player in the world, so it works for some I guess. : )
Edit: ...Until you get back pain.

Just discovered Voyager from Perth, Australia. To be honest, my interest in metal hasn't really been piqued by anything in recent times besides Ulcerate. These guys create a very cool mix of 80s-style pop and djenty prog metal that I'm really enjoying.

Looks like it's going to be available on demand again soon for another 48 hours. I'll probably throw the cash at it and watch on the weekend.
