I'd prefer everyone leaves Wolf's Moon alone. It's a masterpiece.

It would be hard to top White Zombies cover of that. Symptoms of the Universe would be an awsome cover aswell.

I'd prefer everyone leaves Wolf's Moon alone. It's a masterpiece. My thoughts exactly. I think they'd do a great version of Ozzy's "Forever" aka "Center of Eternity". Or a medley of No Rest for the Wicked songs, that'd be good. Always thought "The Storm I Ride" by I would be suitable as well.

Just for the heck of how it would sound:
1. 15 Step - Radiohead 2. Strip My Mind - Red Hot Chili Peppers 3. Break Em' Off Some - Cypress Hill 4. Wanderlust - Megadeth 5. My Iron Lung - Radiohead 6. No Shelter - Rage Against the Machine 7. Wind Below - Rage Against the Machine 8. Get Ready - Sublime 9. Kick Out The Jams - MC5 10. Rock Bottom - UFO (I always think of Seek and Destroy when I hear this) 11. Playing in the Band - Grateful Dead 12. Dark Matter Problem/Every Leaf Is Turning - Grayfolded 13. The Man Who Lost His Head - The Radiators 14. Particle Man - They Might Be Giants 15. Mind Heist - Zack Hemsey (And then I'd like to see a S&M version of their cover) 16. Let's Build a Home - The White Stripes 17. The Fever (Aye Aye) - Death Grips 18. The Battle of Evermore - Led Zeppelin 19. San Frantico - The New Mastersounds 20. Walk - Foo Fighters 21. Territorial Pissings - Nirvana 22. Protein Drink - Widespread Panic 24. Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers - ZZ Top 25. Did I Let You Know - Red Hot Chili Peppers 26. Where's Gary - SpongeBob SquarePants 27. Oceans - Pearl Jam
Would be one hell of an album. Really wonder what metallica would do with some of these.

Seriously though, Radar Love is a perfect song for them. Ever hear King Diamond cover it with Black Rose from way the fuck back in time. Very strange. I think its a way too happy song for Metallica, it would sound like Fuel on some kind of happy pills.

It would be cool to see them cover themselves, how would they put a new spin on some of their songs. Like what they did with Disposable Heros. Imagine a song like Battery or Harvester rerecorded with a different twist and all around sound. Would be awesome.

Screw my first idea, I'd rather have a full on Metallideth album, which has disc 1 of Metallica playing Megadeth and disc 2 of Megadeth playing Metallica. I want to hear the band make Back in the Day an 8 minute epic.

I'd much rather have them cover odd semi mellow tunes, instead of covering already great metal songs.

Mercyful Fate, part 2, the one on Garage disc 1 is great, now put together 5 more tracks for another one.
