Why didn't Het sing like this for the whole show? Was thinking exactly the same thing.

To be fair to Rob, Kirk's tone has been shit for about 20 years, and Het's tone has ranged from average to decent at best. Rob's clean tone is fantastic, it's just has distorted/wah tone that's awful. oh, i've no issue with rob. tho i was joking with jaysee, i'm so used - now i probs don't watch as much of their live performances as you guys - to having his bass buried by those reaaaaaaallly...ugh guitars. so loud and so, aye, shit to average sounding. Nah you can hear him but it's just a solid performance. Nothing to shout about. The Bellz issue, for me, is that both Cliff and Jason nailed the tone of that song and Rob never has. i mean if they just want a solid bass player to do the biz, that's fair enough y'know? i just wish it was a bit more prominent i guezz.

Kind of curious as to why Whiskey makes James think of Cliff. Did he like Thin Lizzy a lot?

Well Hardwired was the best of the night. I like it more live for sure, lots of energy and the vocal delivery was a lot better.

Metallica.
Nails a hard song to play live the first time they ever play it and then fails at one of the easiest songs ever.
Never change.

Couldn't ever really get into this song in the first place, the performance of it isn't doing much to help either.

So you can tell they rehearsed the hell out of Hardwired, and gave every other song maybe one play through before this show. It just shows how good the band can be when they put in the practise. That's why they sounded great back in 2012-2013 - they put the work in.
