OK, so I know most of the classic songs, but I was never into Kiss. However, I've really been digging Detroit Rock City lately, I really like the feel and vibe, the little harmony part, the galloping Four Horsemen riff etc. So Do Kiss have any other songs that have the same vibe? Some buried treasure that I have missed.

Don't know that many great Kiss songs that have galloping riffs and I find it hard to say what songs that have a similar vibe to Detroit rock city.

Yeah, Love Gun is cool, closer to the sound I'm looking for, I've known that song for a long time though. There was this really funny movie with Shaun William Scott where he explains to some kids the greatness of kiss and that Love Gun is all about cocks, at the end of the movie they dress up as Kiss for a big LARPing tournament, great movie BTW.

The Elder is a target for the knockers, but its one of my favourite KISS records.
The Oath is a song you might like off that one too.
Also maybe King of the Night Time World which follows Detroit on the Destroyer album

a clip from the cracking 2000 and something film role modelsthat fucking film, man. yasssssss. i don't exactly know what it is but i enjoyed the fuck out of that film. YESSSSSSSS SON. what a fucking tune. i'm going to be that guy (and stay on brand) and post the clip to the replacements' cover (how i first heard the song) b/c it too is a belter. black diamond is srsly underrated kiss song tho, aw man. |

i'm glad you enjoyed it, and found it good enough to put on a disc! that one of my g.o.a.t records has a cover of one of my favourite KISS songs on it is just phenomenal.
i totally agree, btw. the alive! version is fucking primo.

It is a damn fine tune! I tried to avoid the "hits" as much as I could (hence no Heaven's on Fire, Crazy Nights, Reason To Live etc).
