If I understood correctly, when the producers of Halloween Kills came to him, he already had this track written. So it’s probably 2+ years old. Makes sense why it has a Preqeulle vibe. |

A bit underwhelmed by it. It's okay but not much more. The vocal melodies are mostly really good but the part that's supposed to be the chorus is only strong enough for being a pre-chorus...So it gets pretty anticlimatic. Hopefully it's just a one-off and not an indication of what the next album will sound like.

I think it's catchy as fuck. The chorus guitar/synth(?) lick is solid. I love the heavier breakdown riff somewhere in the middle, and those Phil Collins drum fills in the intro scream 80s horror flick.
I read a lot of comments saying that the new album will have a more Black Metal influence. If that's the case we're in for a dark treat. I hope it's dark and spooky with a sprinkle of blast beat mayhem. Mummy dust on speed or something.

I haven't explored them enough to have an opinion, but from the bit I've heard it's ok, I really like the other band though, Magna Carta Cartel. Every once in a while I'll put their stuff on.

I hate to say it, but it's too melodic for me. I like what he did on the first couple of albums. I liked how it felt it was a cross between Blue Öyster Cult and Mercyful Fate. I dig that. It feels too poppy, at least this new track. I get it though, but it isn't for me.

With the album dropping in March, we'll probably get 1 , hopefully 2, more releases. Something much more crazy or hooky would be nice, but I'll settle for a bunch of silly Clergy sitcom videos till then. |

Tracks 1,7,11 are probably just a bunch of creepy ambient organ tunes, that leaves 9 real songs minus the 2 we've heard, but there will be some covers or a bonus song or 2 like usual I guess.
