I thought that was an awesome rendition. There were some other really cool covers on that night, including a folky medley of No Leaf Clover and Wherever I May Roam by Loney Dear.

Anyone seen Papa performing Sandman? Why the hell didn't they chose another track I was hoping for Thingy. Fucking hate Sandman at this point, but eh it was an alright cover I suppose. Metallica is a band that is really tough to cover IMO. I usually hate all of them, maybe because James' voice is so ingrained into my mind that anyone else just sounds wrong to me. I think TF's voice would have sounded much better on an earlier song. That cover was pretty cool, i enjoyed it, he did a good job vocally and made the song more interesting. |

The only other one I checked out so far was Mickey D smashing out Whiplash - its cool The Puppets cover was probably my favorite, the rest where nothing that great. The lady singing NEM sounded like a dog that has been left to die on the side of the road. I'm not sure if I want to get tickets for the Ghost show here in December. I've never seen them live and don't want to miss another opportunity, but I find Ghost is one of those bands that prefer on album. I find CC very nasally this time around from all the live clips I've seen. I'll probably cave, get a pair of tickets and bring my kid. The venue is quite the trek from my place and is brand new so I've never been there before. Traveling home with my kid will be tricky and it's in December so there could be 3 feet of snow to contend with. Ahhh so many factors. |

Some people assume it's written in French because of the title being from the French language originally. Might be both a video and French tour dates though. |

So I saw them 2 times this summer. First on Graspop metal meeting and second on dynamo metal fest. I had a great time although i had An ugly fight with thé husband because i left my husband on thé side to search my way closer to thé stage 🙄 😜 i did love thé last papa version, even though in thé beginning i was not a fan. I al not a fan of rats, but hearing he is, year zero and other older stuff ladder up for it. I love thé sound of thé band, thé way they look and thé way they do their shows 😍 i Will go see them again for sure...

I liked that remix a lot! I've been on a synthwave binge recently so this fits in really nicely with that! It's got all the things I love about the synthwave genre while still staying quite close to the original, so yeah, I thought it was great.  |

I still have to get my tickets for the December 7 show. I just checked the site and there are more than enough left. Was in a bit of a panic thinking it would be sold out. It's all good. Debating on floor GA or some high up seats. Got some extra cash flowing in October. Will buy them at that time.

If so I'd say be a little farther back, that's what I did at the show in May and I enjoyed it. You can see more and will have better sound, being close isn't really that big of a deal as there are assigned seats and not much crowd movement anyway, so why not sit back farther so you can see everything? They have a lot going on during their performances now. |

Its at this new hockey arena just outside of Montreal. I'm bringing my kid so I'd prefer seating, though I've done shows with him on my shoulders before on the floor. I'll probably go with seats so I can actually enjoy the show instead of getting my eyes clawed out while he head bangs.
Venue is a good size. It'll be my first show there so that's always fun.
