I just realized that we haven't got a thread dedicated to cars only, so here we go. I'll start it up with this, 30 min. ago a buddy of mine came by the office in this thing, a Koenigsegg... He is going to drive it across the country and deliver it to some rich bastard. The car in total, if to buy here in Denmark with Danish registrations is about 35 mill DKK which is about 5.3 million US dollars. Unimaginable amount of money for a freaking car  Anyways, it was pretty damn cool and pretty damn low, I couldn't fit in it at all. Apparently you can't upload video to Imgur so I can't even post that, but trust me, it sounded pretty massive. 1000+ hp and goes up to 400 km/h and just continues, crazy stuff. I was too, he had to drive it around Copenhagen too which is heavily trafficated, no thanks. I'd love to try it though

I'd try it, but probably wouldn't go above 50. That's too much pressure.   Speaking of Chargers, I saw this bad boy outside a bar today. I asked if I could drive it... Can you guess his answer? The Charger is so damn sexy in person.  |

It's the general Ive seen two or three in my area. The one in the picture isn't driven much though, he had brought it there on a trailer for a little car show. Amazing looking car though. |

Thats not the actual car.
But it is close to that gold. Once its cleaned up I'll probably see that it IS that colour.
No matter though, original colour is much better than a 20 year old dodgy respray.

So we just had The Adelaide Motorsport Festival in my city. Its a culmination of exotic, rally, F1, classic and all cars with racing pedigree. We were the original host of the formula 1 from 1986 until it was bought by melbourne and is still regarded as one of the best street circuits ever which hosted the greatest era of the series. The events roots brings amazing cars from all over the world to get out on a small part of the old circuit. Its an amazing event! The event is kicked off by a procession of the best cars through the city on friday night, into the events street party. Here is a photo I captured of the ferrari fxx piloted by our own supercars driver Craig Lowndes making its way through the city. The second photo is of the fxx at the event on its way to see some track time. What a car!   |

Cool shots man. I couldn't get there on the weekend (turns out junior cricket is my life for 80% of the summer  ) but if you soaked up all the different categories you would have likely seen my boss on track in his Formula Ford. A lot of effort on his behalf (his son was out there too in his FF) for only 4 short sessions, but it would have been pretty buzzy for them to be out there. Weather was decent too, and going by people's comments about crowd numbers it seems the event is certainly gaining some strong momentum. |

Its tidy and cheap, 2 good things
