Any of you guys like rap? What are your favorite artists/rappers?
I've been really into MF DOOM stuff, Madvillainy is great and I just got Vaudeville Villain, which I may like even more. Still just getting into his discography, which is pretty large and a bit daunting. I think I'll get his debut or Mmm...Food next, although I have heard that the latter has a bit too many skits, which I've never liked.
I also like Earl Sweatshirt, Kanye, and Wu Tang affiliates. I only have 36 Chambers at the moment as well as Liquid Swords by GZA, which I really like.

Don't listen to too much but I do enjoy it from time to time. Immortal Technique is probaby my favourite, seen him live a few times. He seems to have been working on The Middle Passage forever.

You should check out other RZA produced albums, e.g. ODB Brooklyn Zoo and Only Built 4 Cuban Links (Raekwon). Uncontrolled Substance by Inspectah Deck is good too. The Ghost Dog OST (great film too). Wu Tang's second album has some great moments but sounds more commercial than 36 Chambers. Other than Wu, I like Eazy-E/NWA stuff, early PE, first two albums by Jedi Mind Tricks and that's about it. Can't stand Method Man and his sniffing after each rhyme.

King Kendrick.
J. Cole's last was also a great album.
My top is always The Roots though. So stellar.

I'm not much of a rap listener but I like some. It's especially good while I'm working...
I hate the current trap scene, though...
Lately I'm listening to a lot of Turkish rap. Sharing a few songs is kind of pointless as it's mostly about lyrics and no one will understand the lyrics but I'll share some of my favourite songs anyway.
A friend of mine directed this video clip by the way...

I like a lot of rap acts. For example Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, Run-DMC, Eminem, Ice Cube, Xzibit, Busta Rhymes, Wu-Tang Clan, Corporate Avenger, LL Cool J, Cypress Hill and Die Antwoord are all fucking dope. I listen to them pretty regularly.

I'm not a fan of rap or hop hop. I've tried and I just can't. It all sounds the same to me.
