what do you mean by the show is over, they won't be working on another season? I haven't watched ep6, maybe in the next couple of days as i will be off Yeah in a year or so :( It's the same with GOT, you hardly start watching it before it's over, 10 episodes is over in a heartbeat. That said, with so few ep's you never feel like the show drags, like Homeland fx. I guess that's a good thing. |

Ep six was decent, perhaps the weakest so far though. Don't know if they're playing up to cliches, but the whole cop getting hit breaking up a fight thing was pretty lame. As was the whole Mike jumping off the cliff scene, although I understand why that was there. They also seem to have cranked up the swearing, which seems really out of character.

Watched the final two episodes on Sunday as this topic had been dormant for a week. Overall, not quite worthy of the massive amounts of praise it has been getting, but a good show nonetheless.

Alright, I'll chip in my thoughts now that you guys are done with the season.
This show is sooooo good. I hate TV shows with a passion. Writing is pure shit these days. Fuck all these GOT and Walking deads etc. But ah, Stranger Things sucked me right in like a really fantastic book does.
Everything about it is A fucking +.
When the girl flips the car, the Xmas lights, the cop, its all so good. A lot of the ides seem to have been lifted and done already (by S. King Etc) but I'll let that slide since they did such a great job.
The only thing left to wonder is why the cop was in the car with the feds in the last few scenes, did I miss something? Oh well, maybe we'll get those answers next season.
