Let's keep out votes to ourselves for a bit.... sense of anticipation and all that! Hence why I made the results hidden 8-) I dine on Kimbo's mother's cock after it's been annihilating Smiters' ass

So. Here's my suggestion for how this should work. All of this is up for debate to find a way that works for everyone, of course.
- We go old school and watch one episode per week (to allow people time to fit it into their lives) - During that week any discussion of the episode MUST be put in spoiler tags - If it transpires that we have all watched the episode before the "release day" of the next episode, and we all agree, we move onto the next episode and the week date shifts to whatever new day it becomes
Sound good?

Sounds good to me, we start with ep 1 this week?

Sorta, most discussion will happen i spoiler tags this way and that kinda sucks. I'm thinking just avoid this particular thread until you have watched the episode of the week, then the rest of us can discus freely

Why not make another thread and we put a deadline each week, for example on sunday, so we need to watch the episode within the week and we discuss it on sunday

I think we should just watch it whenever people have the time, and then you can join in on the discussion whenever you have watched the episode. I don't think much discussion will happen on a Sunday ?

^Yeah, just rename name the thread title with episode 1 review, then after a week, episode 2 review and so on. This way you can avoid it if you haven't watched said episode yet.

I'm thinking just avoid this particular thread until you have watched the episode of the week, then the rest of us can discus freely Good call. Once the first episode is "released", I'll update the title of this thread to reflect what episode number we're on and those folk who haven't watched it can avoid until they have. Why not make another thread and we put a deadline each week, for example on sunday, so we need to watch the episode within the week and we discuss it on sunday I was tempted to ask Alan to create another sub-board so we could do things like that but decided not to cos it seemed more hassle than it was worth. We'll test run this thread out and see how it goes, we can always create a MetBBB TV group then create a new hidden sub-forum for group members only etc (like DMZ). If we can all hold off on watching it until I PM that would be great.

This seems like bingy type show.....why don't we watch 1 episode a day? Is anyone too busy to watch one hour of this tv series everyday?

Well the point (kinda) of this was to go a bit old school and only do one episode at a time - people have families, jobs, school and whatnot.
I did add a caveat that if we've all seen the show then we can "release" the next episode.
Dunno. If people want to watch the whole thing - feel free but you can only discuss the current episode being viewed. So no spoliers, hints or "knowing" posts.
I'll let you all decide collectively. But for me? I'll be watching one episode a week. I figure a show set in the 80s deserves to be watched like it would have been in the 80s.

I support one episode a week. Can't be doing one a day right now.

I vote for one a week too. Give all time to watch it when it suits to do so. I also like the 'nod' t0 viewing 80s style Jaysee :)

It's not so much that it's set in the 80's, it's that it resembles 80's action/adventure/horror movies. Classic Spielberg and Carpenter and Stephen King. So if you hold no affection for 80's movies like The Thing, ET, Close Encounters, The Goonies etc then yeah, the aesthetic won't have any specific appeal. But you can still appreciate the story regardless.

Great!!, I'll start watching right now, 1 episode a week seems better, I always binge watch TV series and I've realized I prefer watching at a slower pace, I tend to collapse when invaded with so much info I end up forgetting way too much.

So if we are now discussing?
I watched episode 1 and I agree with you Kimbo on the X-files thing. As I watched it (before your comment) - the scene where Hopper? (the copper?) is on road side in dark, just before finding kid's bike.. it made me remember a scene in first X-files episode.
going with that nostalgia theme.. I am hooked on this show already... it is steeped with nods and references and glimpses of all that I loved about being a kid in the 80s. Like an E.T/Goonies vibe but with a darkness/sinister edge that also appeals to me greatly. Not gonna lie.. it is really cool to see Ryder again too :) I also get a Stephen King vibe from it also. Intrigued to find out more about No.11 and the kids in it are brilliant.
I am excited to see the next episode, for sure!

Watched the first episode last night but it's playing second fiddle in my mind to the Metallica stuff. Lots of intriguing stuff though, and plenty of story threads that I look forward to seeing develop. Also, the music is boss.

Exatcly how I'm feeling, it's gonna be hard not watching more than 1 episode a week Watched the first episode last night but it's playing second fiddle in my mind to the Metallica stuff. You were unlucky with the time you watched it though, the Metallica stuff would have taken first place for me too :)

I watched ep 1 but I completely forgot the music. It is intriguing but wasn't hooked yet. I liked the feeling out of the episode, and how the show is build, sort of old school and reminded me of my childhood sort of, that i really liked, but i didn't pay attention much to details
