Really enjoyed the first half of season 1, but the rest of S1 was a bit dull for me. S2 wasn't the best either for me. Think that was because they went to anew show every 2 weeks. made it tougher to get engaged.
Anyway, interesting about the Adnan news.

The first half of S1 was interesting but then it, the Adnan case, got boring. Season 2 was Burgdal focused but because, for me, they shifted to a new episode every 2 (vs. once a week like S1) weeks I found it harder to get engaged, remember the people, and care about it. I have been a This American Life fan for years so I knew f the spin-off when it started so I was following them live (if that didn't come though with the above). |

By the time I started listening to Serial, The Jinx had just started airing which I found much more compelling and I just never got around to going back to it. The way I listen to podcasts -- usually half paying attention while doing something else -- it's just not the best format for me for an in depth crime story. Currently the only ones I listen to weekly are the Giant Bombcast/Beastcast (video games and off topic nonsense) and My Brother, My Brother and Me (comedy; answering ridiculous 'Yahoo Answers' questions).

Now that it's all available in one go, it (in theory) could be easier but it was too dull for me. S1 I just felt didn't go anywhere in the end. Don't know what I was expecting, but it just felt a bit repetitive by the end. - - - - - - - As for other podcasts, here's what I'm listening to now:
