So, this album came out the other day. I'd say it's more akin to Stone's Reach than Of Breath and Bone, with a more expansive soundscape and a slightly more pronounced prog element. Some of their best songs here and a quality work as a whole, even though it has a hard time surpassing the previous two records for me.
It's also a concept album, following the journey of energy from the Sun throughout various lifeforms on Earth.

Its an incredible album, it's already my favourite from them. I'd put it in my top 10 albums of the year so far.

This band just hasn't been able to grab me, despite all the praise. Don't know if it's the growls that I just find a bit meh or something else but whenever they release a new album I always check out a few songs.
I'm not a huge melo death fan anymore (but it does suffice at times) but from what I have read/heard, they're are akin more to classic Opeth vs. classic melo death, which is probably why I always listen to a few songs.
Is this a good album to just dive into and go from start to finish on?
