The album leaked. First reactions is the first half is an absolute home run. The second half...eh...still working on it, but I've got a feeling most of it will be in the "delete" category for me.

Yea the first half is better than most of the rest of their career.
Even Los Angeles is fairly good, despite sounding a bit of a mess at times.
After "No Future," I feel a considerable drop in quality.

On my first listen now on Spotify whilst getting ready for work. It's quite good, at times a bit of a throwback to the late 90s/early 00s sound as I thought it might be. There are some really memorable songs and hooks. Nowhere near the quality of many of their other albums though. Tom's absense is noticeable. Matt is a bit too bland and faceless for me. Tom was distinctive, for better or for worse. Matt is just sort of there. My impressions may improve over time but Tom was a big part of what made blink-182 special.

I had a listen to the new stuff...
Now. I was never a huge Blink fan. I adore Take Off Your Pants and Jacket but the new songs sound really dull to me.
Not that i'm missing Tom's voice. But something is really missing.
