How'd you get on with getting tickets Engel? I've read around and there seems to have been a bit of aggro due to the usual scummy ticket vendor resales and various VIP packages. |

I held off purchasing for now. I learned recently that it is possible to get excellent seats direct from venuee a year after tickets go on sale. Hoping to do same with alice tickets.
How did u get on?

I got a front ticket for the Manchester show in the o2 presale, but it's way off to the side. Got a more central ticket in the eighth row a few days later. Not sure which one I'll stick with, but I'll sell the other one at some point.

Yeah, I saw them at their last show in Germany in Cologne yesterday. It was fucking awesome but at the end (no pun intended) it was really heartbreaking to see them go off the stage.

not sure anyone here would have but maybe you know of someone who tried to purchase u2 tickets last week? what the hell was the process?
I am a fan, my other half is obsessed fan and tried to buy tickets for us but was impossible. It seems like people were able to get them in their online basket but by time they put in card details and hit purchase, the tickets were gone. Just wondering why they haven't got a system set up like a lot of purchase processing now.. enter name of people attending, or like with Iron Maiden... got to take along the bank card that was used to purchase.
Doesn't seem like any protection against online touts was in place at all. I expect monday's sale for the extra date to go the same clusterfuck way :/

Should've seen Kreator last night, but a wall collapsed at my local train station causing widespread cancellations, so couldn't get there :'(
Have added Battle Beast in late March to the itinerary however. Really looking forward to that one.
