There's a Metallica tribute band around here who go the extra mile to have the same guitars, clothes and all that. After a few beers you'd never know the difference, good times.

Theres an Iron Maiden tribute show happening in my city this Friday. They only play songs from 80-84 so really would like to attend but I've got so much other shit on over the next 7 days that I am reluctant to add any more. The band is from here so I'm confident I will get another chance for a look. Keen to see songs from the first 2 albums performed live. Sounds cool. I dont mind a well executed tribute. The prices some real bands charge might soon become only option |

The CoF live stream Dracula Spectacular was superb on Wednesday evening. Visually beautiful and sounded fantastic (my personal opinion of new keyboardist backing vocals aside)
Love I can watch as often as I like for another week or so.

got james yorkston sometime in mid-november and then seeing an elvis impersonator front nirvana tribute band a few weeks after.
local hardcore/emo/weird adjacent folk scene festival is also in november, can see myself dropping in on one of the days. probably whichever day kaddish are playing.

I dissapointed myself in 2022 that I missed so many gigs out of laziness and tiredness (or in few cases, due to lack of money).
on 14th, there will be Therion and on 18th there will be a Panzerballet gigs. I hope I can catch them both.

This year it'll be the Marillion Weekend in Berlin but I am also toying with getting tickets to see WASP and Kiss.
Next year is Metallica in Munich.

I had a look at a 40th anniv show and it was a fairly bland gig.

Saw WASP at Roundhouse London last week. Was amazing! Blackie was enjoying himself which was lovely to see and the place was packed with a great crowd. Great set and cracking sound. Best I have seen them in a long time.
Was at Southend last night to see The Damned. They smashed it up!!!
Lounging in hotel at Gatwick now for early flight to Scotland in morning. Easter break is on.
