Very cool lineup
Other than the obvious headliners to catch, Municipal Waste and The Cancerbats would be on my list. Metal Church and Fu Manchu would be too.
Didn't even know Quiet Riot were still doing anything.

Yeah, for sure. Lots of cool bands I dig and a lot I'm curious about. I keep missing Ghost every time they've come and I keep kicking myself for that since they are probably in my top 5 the past 3-4 years and I haven't really latched onto any newish bands in a really long time.
A lot of those bands I really don't give a shit about though, lol. Slash? Evanescence? Guess I'll go drink at those points.

Who da hell is METALACHI? Are they hoping people will mistake them for Metallica? After some further research, they are just as bad as you'd expect.

I saw Backstreet Boys for the first time a few days ago. The standing ticket price was $73 but I managed to find one from a friend for $42 the day before the show. They were really good. When Brian and Kevin caught my eye they set my teenage soul on fire. <3

Where the U2 tickets 5x more expensive than Metallica? no, GA was cheaper but I think the seats are a bit more expensive for U2. if you look where my U2 seats are, they cost AUD$270 each. for Metallica I'm further away and the tickets are AUD$190 each. I think U2 is a bit more $$$ seating wise.

Yesterday: Metallica, Ghost and Bokassa Today: John Fogerty Please post a review of John Fogerty. I'm a big CCR fan and John would have to be one of the nicest dudes in rock going around. I missed the news he was touring here til it was over.

Fuck yeah! Saw Ghost last night in top form. First time for me and wow was I happy. CC is pure swagger on stage, and the Ghouls where fantastic. Every song was perfect. It was amazing. I was right near the front with my wife and during Mummy Dust we where right under the confetti blaster, it was a nice moment looking up and having a billion papers fall on us. Crowd was amazing and where singing along loud as hell for every song.
Other bands where awesome, and it was a scorching hot day, felt like 40°
Heading back now for Day2, SLAYER!

Night 2 was awesome. Saw Corrosion of Conformity put on a great set on a side stage out in the woods. Watched some other cool bands all throughout the day.
Slayer was fantastic, every head in the crowd was banging and shouting.
Very touching moment at the end when Tom said his thank-yous and final good bye. He just stood there looking out at the sea of fans and took the scene in for the last time. He had a tear in eye, and so did most people, cheering went on for really long time before he finally step off stage.
Good times.
