Pretty sure I got email today to tell me tour summer 2018, presale next Thursday :) Don't forget the o2 presale on Wednesday Aye, is a great perk :) Dunno if i am going to splash out on Wed presale though. What with all other ticket purchases recently, xmas looming and Berlin trip in Feb, hmmmz. Might do what I have done with Alice, wait til two weeks before and snag great seats. Last time Maiden played O2, traded in my one ticket and got two in better seats week before. They always hold some back.. risky, but... may have to be done. You going to get in on the presale action?

Saw Anathema last night. They were pretty good but the setlist could have been better. It was funny when Vincent said to the crowd "How the fuck are ya, CUNTS?!" trying his best to speak in Aussie vernacular.

Paul McCartney was very good last week. Hard to believe how old he is performing like that. 40 song setlist and on stage for over 3 hours. Live and Let Die was amazing with all the fireworks and visuals. Lots of surprises too, even for a Beatles tragic like myself. Too many highlights to list really but me and my daughter left there on top of the world.

couple of out of the blue gigs for me.
Bf bought tickets for ministry as he confused the pic for jonathan davis and thought Korn were playing and wanted to cheer me up as work has been rough - i am sure we will still enjoy the night out
Got tickets tonight for Stereophonics tomorrow night

Not really a gig cos it was in a cinema but I saw Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds live in Copenhagen at the cinema last night. Cinema was completely packed and it was an awesome performance by Nick. Hope it gets released on DVD soon. Annoyingly one lady in front of me seemed to think she was at an actual concert and was taking pics of the cinema screen with her phone, annoying the hell out of me. It's bad enough when people do that at concerts, but at a fucking cinema?!

Saw Robert Plant the other night - great show. The opening act was partly ruined by a bunch of rude fucks that decided to have a family catchup 2 rows in front of us....one guy in particular. When Robert Plant came out he then decided to chat to the people he knew behind me. Everyone close by was getting pissed off but not saying anything as he moved from one row to the other. Fuck that...Shut the Fuck up Dude.....which set off the old guy sitting next to me who gave him a serve too....that bit was funny Was waiting for a crack to the back of the skull to be honest but was hoping those annoyed with him would have stepped in. Why do people do this? They were expensive tickets and its Robert fucking Plant, how about watch and listen? Seems to happen to us a lot. Last few shows we've had pissed women cackling away. Fuck off back to the bar, everyone else here wants to hear the show.

I was not gonna let some arsehat fuck it up for us. Second time seeing Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters (nice band name Robert ) Although the 2nd show was in a smaller theatre that made it a little more intimate, we rate the first show the better one mainly because we sat there for half hour grinning like idiots purely because of who we were seeing on stage.....had a surrealness to it

I finally saw The Killers on Tuesday night. a great concert, 4/5 from me The Killers Perth concert review < I disagree that there was... they played 6 songs from the new album and there are 10 on the cd, not including the bonus track 'Money On Straight' & the 2 remixes of 'The Man'. I was beyond stoked that they played ' Rut', that has become my song and I've only been listening to The Killers for 7 months. Brandon Flowers the singer/songwriter of The Killers said 'Rut' was about his wife's PTSD and I can tell you he fecking hit the lyrics right on. I started crying when Brandon started singing the first verse, I was wearing my glasses and had to clean them a couple of times. I think my brother was a bit worried about me as he could see I was crying as I was singing along. hearing 'Rut' live hit me right in my heart. the other songs that stood out for me was ' Shot At The Night' & ' Tyson Vs Douglas'. v below is a video taken by a fan at the show. it looks like their filming didn't block anyone so I'm happy to share it. it case anyone is wondering where I was sitting I was in a block near the stage. the water tower had PERTH on it. I could only see PER but they were great seats. ^ another highlight for me. 'HUMAN' I love this song!
