I don't have any upcoming gigs right now... But I just saw Slipknot with Suicidal Tendencies two weeks ago. Slipknot was stellar, the songs from the newest album worked really well live. They even played two songs they'd never played live - Skeptic and I Am Hated. Also, Everything Ends was played for the first time in almost three years. Really great show. Only songs that I felt like were missing were Custer, People=Shit, The Heretic Anthem and The Blister Exists. They could've left out Killpop and Dead Memories and replaced them with any two of those.
Suicidal Tendencies opened the show... And I didn't like it. I have only limited knowledge of their material, but I liked some of their songs. But live... Man, that was a shitshow. Mike Muir rambled on about some inspirational, "believe in yourself" crap half the time, between every single song. His stage movement resembled a Frankenstein monster on crack. And the first song lasted like 10 minutes, and it never went anywhere. Not my cup of tea.

I was supposed to be seeing Grimes on the 13th(?) of March but that's in jeopardy becuase I think I'm doing a presentation on the 14th and you know, you want to be #on #form for that, being graded and all.
Explosions in the Sky, possibly, in April however and that's phenomenal. Idk what else is coming up because I don't really look at the listings for shows, yo.

Yes, I am more than a tad envious. I am saving my pennies in the hope they announce Wuhlheide dates soon (often May long weekend, the mecca of R+ fans) Berlin, Rammstein, Beer. A girl can hope! if not? then I shall wait for next tour :P I can live vicariously through you, you can keep me updated on all things Rammstein when you see them.

I have tix for Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden.
Also in a few weeks I will be doing the 4 day motorsport event here which has bands on each night.
This year is not the best of lineups (Black Sorrows / Rob Thomas / Icehouse / The Church / and some others) but still great to finish each day with some live music.

hmm, does it? mad sense! Earliest I could get to Ebbsfleet for a train would be to leave at 4ish (would be nice to get changed, could do so on train I guess) Would get me to East Midlands Parkway train station for 18.50. Then up to another 20 minutes taxi or such to get to destination. £103 for train ticket (to return following day) Add in ticket cost and hotel for night... only a nutter fan would contemplate this ;) Orrrrr - I could be 'sick' that day ;)
