Well once you get through passport control there is nowhere to go until your flight is called, just one long windy corridor about 8 foot across, a handful of chairs and then everyone standing or sitting on the floor of said corridor.
PS if you are coming home on a Sunday get an early flight, because Berlin is closed on a Sunday, once you are kicked out of your hotel, you have to wander the deserted streets until it's time to go to the airport.

ah, that is good to know. I know Sunday is very sacred to Germans. It would be a Sunday return too, should I go. Might just get my fix at festival and hold back to see if any solo shows elsewhere announced.

This post is just a moan at typical Rammstein last minute announcements. I could enter a raffle today to attend a dress rehearsal of their new show in Berlin! 26th and 28th May :/
Any fans willing to pay ma flight at such short notice? I will enter raffle and we can go together :D I am on holiday 28th

Back in 2012 the company I worked for just installed a bunch of AC units that ran through into the backstage area of 1st Mariner arena in Baltimore. That week we were in and out of the place off and on and Rammstein happened to be playing there. My partner and I were walking through the dressing room area and Till was standing in the hallway completely naked (it was just before the show so I believe he was about to get changed) reading a gardening magazine. I said hello to him because I knew who he was and talked to him for a couple of minutes about the tour. Really nice guy, he even shook my hand. He also speaks perfect English. So yeah I got to talk to a completely naked Till. |
