Which song do you think wraps up the album best? This isn't about which song is your favorite, this is about which song ends the album with a feeling of completeness the most. I was struck between The Outlaw Torn and Dyers Eve, but I gotta go with Dyers Eve. It's aggression and anger are so real, more so then most of the songs they've written. And god damn that solo. Anyway, vote for whichever is the best.

Dyers is kinda lame outside of the kickass verse melody. Really close for me between Ktulu and Outlaw, giving Ktulu the edge right now.

While I absolutely love both Damage Inc. and Dyers Eve, I can definitely see why Dyers Eve would get more love. Damage Inc. is fast, brutal and the lyrics are fantastic, no question. But while Dyers Eve is just as ferocious, its lyrics adds an emotional, personal level, which Damage Inc. just doesn't have. The raging vitriol with which James spits out the lyrics is wondrous to witness. I can't even begin to imagine how purifying it must've felt for a young James to get those feelings out.

Especially live the effect is awesome. It's much better than the drawn-out "the whole band slams their instruments in unison for a while" endings Metallica tends to do. |
