Seeing it being discussed in other threads and we used to have one on old MetBB, it deserves it's place here. World Whisky day and Ardbeg Day/Night have just been. I'm no expert of the stuff, but I've started drinking more of it over the last couple of years. Below are a few of my favorites. The Ardbeg and Tullibardine are fantastic. And I usually have a bottle of Jameson at home, it's always at a good price.

Love me a good whisk(e)y however I'm too tired to post right now a long breakdown of what I love!
Ardbeg is great. Peaty as fuck, but not too overpowering. There's a great Scottish bar here in Toronto that always does scotch tastings and things and there was a sampling of many Ardbegs a lot of which we can't get here in Canada, however, I was strongly urged to get Ardbeg Dark Coe when it comes out in August or September.
I only recently got into Irish Whiskey so I only have Tullamore Dew at home but it's great for the price. My cousin is a huge whisky drinker and she has lots that I tasted last weekend at her place so I should get some of the names.

I love whisky. Like many others, I first got into the smoky, peaty Islay single malts such as Laphroaig, but recently I've grown a bit weary of them and moved on to smoother, fruitier varieties. Cherry cask ones are really good. At the moment, my only bottle is Knockando 12yo. It's pretty enjoyable, especially for its low price (I got it for 18 euros).

Jack Daniel's is not a great whisky by any means, but it does what it needs, and it has carved itself a nice niche as the go-to rock 'n roll drink. And you really can't go wrong with an ice cold Jack & Coke.

I actually got into the fruitier Speyside scotches first and then migrated to more smoky varietals. I haven't had one that I haven't liked (pretty much) which is nice. (apart form realyl cheap stuff).
Unfortunately we don't get too many different kinds in Ontario but there''s always a decent selection, which tends to be pretty pricy...

I got these for Christmas last year. Both really good. I also got the Tullibardine Sherry Cask I originally posted which was perfect for the holidays.

I don't drink too much these days because my body is way too damaged from the past. Jack Daniels was definitely my poison though, from 2004 - 2011 I was going through a bottle a day, but had to force myself to stop after I hit 150kg's and started getting yellow skin.
I also loved Jameson and some Australian whiskeys.

Had a bit of this delight last night. I usually have a bit of ice but this tasted a lot better straight.
