Ok, still been pondering this. If I am truthful.. It has to be anything by The Cure from conception up to Disintegration. I can't choose one of those albums cuz I adore them all and always listen to them, for decades now. BUT It doesn't mean they satiate my rock craving, and I have to fulfill that need too. So, I am no closer to answering this bloody question! *shakes fist at Alan, you menace!* You better believe it...

Ride the Lightning. I never skip a song from it on shuffle, literally never.

I have been burning through album after album while I continue to pave the top part of my yard and I think I have found my favourite album. Fireball was one of my first LPs I bought, one of the first albums I bought on CD and one of the first remastered CDs that I bought. Couple of weirdo Gillan lyrics in No One Came prevent it scoring a 100/100. For decades I thought the opening sound was a recording from an elevator shaft. The internet is born and I find out its the studio aircon system starting up. EDIT - just listening to opener again, Ian Paice is the best drummer, he doesn't get the recognition like the other greats.
