Conquer or Die was pretty friggin' epic! I too wished it was longer.

I'm not going to pay a gazzillion euros more to see a 3D video. So no.

Is it a crime that my focus for Megadeth is almost exclusively on the following albums:
Countdown, Youthanasia, Cryptic. Rude Awakenings, TSHF
??
Never got into the early stuff really (although I do own it).

I prefer newer songs too. Although there are some classics.

My favourite songs from Dystopia are the title track and Dead From Within. I also really like Poisonous Shadows.

I couldn't agree more... At first I didn't like the title track at all, but now I love it.

Am i the only one who prefers Supercollider? Dystopia sounds like a bunch of demos.

What about the rehashing of riffs everyone is always complaining about? I haven't heard anyone complain that Fatal Ilussion is like Good mourning/Black friday ...

The Dystopia World Tour: featuring exactly one song from Dystopia. Brilliant.

I want to get into Megadeth since I've only heard some random songs by them. I previewed a bunch of their songs on iTunes and don't know where to start. I need an album recommendation.

Countdown is a great start. It is very easy to get into like The Black Album, Ashes in Your Mouth, Psychotron, Countdown to Extinction, Symphony of Destruction and many other great songs on that album. From there you can go backwards to the 80s or forwards to the present.

Countdown/Youthanasia/Cryptic/Rude Awakenings/System are my suggested points. Then the pre-CTE material. Then the rest.

K. I think I'm gonna order CTE and Youthanasia. By then I'll be able to find my own way through the many albums, like I did with metallica.
