I really like The World Needs A Hero. There's some great songs on it but also some of the worst in the entire discog. Moto and When should've gotten the delete button. |

When is alright but it should've been a 4-5 minute song. Moto psycho's chorus feels like Dave was trolling and havin fun in the studio and they lazily kept it as it is. |

BMus1 There's some catchy tunes on UA - Sleepwalker, Washington is Next, Gears of War, United Abominations. Also....prefer this to the remix

These are all good songs. I'm too harsh on it, it's really the two I mentioned that I can't stand. I also didn't like how they excluded Kill the King from the album, it would've been one of the best tracks. Until Thirteen Megadeth was suuuper consistent for me so a couple turds sink an album fast. |

Would have Metallica sounded better if Dave stayed in the band for the first 2 albums at least? Would he have elevated slower songs like Fade to Black and For Whom The Bell Tolls?

I love SFSGSW, has the best 2 song openers. Hook in Mouth is also a fav. The intro riff on Liar is in my opinion one of Dave's best. |

I love the highs of the World Needs a Hero.
I prefer System but Dystopia is a very solid album too. I prefer that over Endgame.

It's so on track for Dave, especially because in the last few years I figured Kiko is the one guy who might be a lock in the band til Dave retires. He loves surprising me with his lack of desire to have a steady line-up. Besides David, Gar, Chris Poland, Nick, and Marty the only other person who has given off non-session musician vibes was Kiko. That includes Dirk and James as of right now. |
