I thought she was referring to the "sand people" quip... to me that gif & meme are in bad taste. I know it's been almost 17 years since 9/11 but the image of those buildings burning is still disturbing. at least to me. it was a hateful, evil act and I can't associate it with Star Wars. |

I'm not saying they are related... ...But the media reported that Solo was a 50 - 100 million dollar loss (some analysts are saying as much as 200 million) in the morning... ...then in the evening Rose deletes here Instagram account due to "months of racist abuse" and various LucasFilm employees go on a twitter rampage attacking white man-babies... Now I'm not suggesting, in the absence of any examples of this abuse, that LucasFilm are creating some kind of media distraction to smoke screen a 50-200 million dollar failure... but...  |

So..I had 0 intentions of seeing solo. Bf wanted to so we went last night. I was ready to hate it. Thoughts of there is only one Han in ma head.
I kinda loved it purely for its lighthearted and fun elements and the kid did well to capture the chewie han dynamic we know and love.
There... I said it..I really enjoyed it.

I didn't tell SicJes to take the images down, they just made me feel bad. he could of left them there and asked others what they thought of the gif and meme. edit: SicJes can you put the 2 images you took down back up so I can gauge what others think? I don't want my opinion to infringe on your freedom of speech  I also want to know if others feel the same way... when I first looked at em I was like ' aw man, that ain't right'  or ' that ain't funny' but others may find it funny. |

This guy on YouTube is very passionate about Star Wars and is currently reediting TLJ and has a bunch of stuff like that on his channel. I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to film editing and scoring etc. I find his stuff cool and interesting. I still haven't seen TLJ, but from the clips I have seen, wow, it is really bad, so if this guy can save it...

I like what he did with the editing & the score. the music especially made those scenes improve and of course cutting out Carrie Poppins. I have to agree with spartanmcdoodle you really should see The Last Jedi and then watch the improvements this guy has made. I wish he'd of worked on the film instead of that hack Rian Johnson. |
