I'm the entire IT dept for a stock brokers/institutional sales team and now we are expanding into investment banking.
No one bothers me 'cause no one knows what I have to do, as long as the place runs like clockwork they leave me alone.
It's a fucking sweet gig.

Chemical Engineer in Alberta, but currently unemployed for the past 4 months. The low oil prices have really taken a toll on the industry here in Alberta, where the unemployment rate is the highest its been since 1996. Luckily I had 10 years in at the same company, so I was compensated generously. Should give me another year or so to find work.

Project manager at a heating and air company. I was in the field installing but got promoted a while back.
I miss installing stuff because I like working with my hands but I don't miss the damage it was doing to my body.

Just started a new job. Previously I was a scheduler for fibre optic cabling installations. Now I'm in the contract centre of a (privately owned) defence force bank.
This place is a much better company to work for. They're actually giving me proper training, a free certificate in finance, and I'm working in an awesome team.
