We probably need one of these so here goes.
I always seem to have problem with micro sd cards, no matter which ones I purchase. I can never get them to work properly, when I transfer data it almost always fuck up and terminate the transfer with some lame error. When I finally get the movie/music or whatever transferred, it never works on the desired device. Am I simply buying them too cheap ? I recently bought a 32 GB Micro SDHC class 10, shouldn't that work properly ?

Samsung Galaxy tablet, HP laptop, other computers, my navigation system in the car, you name it. I can't tell what the problem is, I've tried 3 different adapters but it always fails. This has happened to about 3 memory cards now, they are always completely unstable.

I guess I gotta put in some more dough to get better quality

MicroSD cards are annoying. Took me half an hour to work out how to insert one the correct way once.

Depends on the microSD. If you're buying the properly, less than a dollar cheap ones, chances are it has a false memory reading. The chip can say it has 8gb storage, when it actually has 256mb (I've had this happen as well with a cheap MP3 player). Once you get past the 256mb, it pretty much bricks itself.

Very noisy laptop fan on my HP Pavilion G6. New or had it a while? If it's new, deal with it. If it's old, get an air canister and blow out the dust. If that doesn't help, get a techie friend to open her up, clean it properly/redo the thermal paste.

Very noisy laptop fan on my HP Pavilion G6. Yeah, that happens a lot with those computers. My dad has one of those and it does that too. Pretty sure it's just some kind of defect on that model. I could be wrong, though.

Everything looked magnified on Chrome today (no zoom applied). Maybe an update?
Here's the solution:

Same. Every other one I tried was bloated as fuck. And mostly unnecessary, they might have slightly better deterrence but I've never had a virus in my life because I have common sense. I do 2 or 3 scans a year for Malware with Malware Bytes and Spybot too though cos there's always a couple of shady cookies and flash files creep their way in through browsers.

MSE has picked up viruses from pop ups (on free movie sites) and removed them without any hassle. I do wonder if it's missing stuff though, i use the quick scan mainly because the full scan takes about 10 hours lol.

Yeah the stuff from browsers (unless you're visiting very dodgy sites) is usually relatively harmless with regards to the health of your computer, it's typically stuff like adware and tracking cookies etc. But MSE/Defender will definitely miss a few, its focus is on damaging viruses rather than malware though it will catch the particularly bad ones. That's why I use dedicated malware software too. I don't have it running in the background though, just a few scans a year.

"Panda receives a near-perfect score for protection. However, it receives one of the lowest scores for performance, causing significant lag on our test computer" Edit: By the way Avira seemed to be the most widely recommended free antivirus from my quick googling there. I might give it a go.

Stick with reputable tech sites for recommendations. That site is affiliate bought advertising and they admit in their disclaimer to taking money for "reviews". Even the comments are a fabrication.
