When you want to listen to some music, do you listen an entire album from front to back or do you listen to some certain tracks you want to hear?
I've never really gotten into listening to an entire album at one sitting, I choose few tracks and that's it for the moment.

I used to always just put all my music on shuffle, but over the last year or so i've been listening to albums more than individual songs. I still have a few mixed playlists when I don't want to listen to one specific band, but more often than not i'll just pick an album and listen to that for a day or two then move on.

Mostly just songs. An album has to be really, really good for me to devote an entire 50 minutes or whatever to it. I envy people who have the time to only listen to albums. I'll always listen to a new album all the way through of course though.

A mixture. I usually listen to albums, especially on the journey to/from work (takes about 80-90 minutes each way). I have playlists dedicated to certain artists/genres as well as one with no particular structure that I put on shuffle if I'm indecisive or not really bothered about what I'm listening to.

I usually listen to albums. I don't get not having time for that, I listen to music while doing other things. I do like to just listen an album but obviously it's a bit too time consuming to do all of the time.

Depends really. I have a 2 hour commute so an album works but sometimes shuffle is the only way to go.
Although I must say that I have been putting the whole of Pearl Jam 'Vs' on repeat quite recently.

Way to contradict yourself within one statement! Brother ampman has spent too long over at the forum and as such has lost much of his abilities to make sense. He's got a long road ahead of him.

I mostly listen to my Spotify list on shuffle nowadays, but sometimes I listen to albums in whole. Haven't listen to physical albums in four or five years. Digital all the way.

Albums but I always do something while listening to music. Read or play video games or so.

Whenever possible, I listen to albums. Now and then, most often when I'm in the mood for listening to some old songs, I'll listen to a bunch of individual tracks, but in general I find albums much more satisfying.

Mostly just songs... Unless it's a new album of course, then I'll listen front to back

Way to contradict yourself within one statement! I should have been more clear, I meant I do like to do nothing but listen to an album (as opposed to multitasking) but that is time consuming. I listen to music while doing other things: cleaning, working, driving, etc. so I don't see why a person wouldn't have time to listen to albums.

Up until about 12 months ago, I was exclusively an albums only listener.
Now I've made a few playlists that I listen to from time to time but still mainly albums only.

Depends what I'm listening to. If its a King Diamond album or something with an overall theme like that, then I'll definitely go through the whole album, even if it's over 2 or 3 listens/trips on the bus. But there are a shitload of random songs that I enjoy but couldn't care less for the album or artist. If I'm at home cleaning or fixing lunch, I'll throw on a greatest hits album from a band to hear all the good stuff.

A bit of both. Mostly I like to listen to albums, but sometimes I don't really know what I feel like and end up jumping around a bit. Sometimes I also just feel like listening to specific songs.

Albums, most of the time. When it's a mixed bag album and I end up skipping half the tracks I guess that could count as listening to just specific songs

I normally only listen to music while I'm on my NIGHT WALK. So thats an hour, sometimes hour and a half I get to listen to music each day. So that time must not be wasted on CRAPOLA! I don't like listening while doing other things, you don't focus on the music as much as you should.

Anytime I put my music on shuffle I start just clicking for the next song. Even if I like the song playing, curiosity gets the best of me and I click next.
When I listen to an album I'm good to sit through it all. However my most preferred method is listening to bands live. Whether it be live albums/bootlegs.

99% albums.

Both. When I'm only listening to music and not concentrating on anything else I usually listen to full albums. When the music is on background while I do other things I often use random shuffle.
There are some albums that I almost always listen from start to finish. For example concept albums often fall into this category.

Albums mostly, obviously I occasionally listen to songs on their own but most of the time I just stick on an album.

Definitely albums. I always prefer starting an album and listening to the flow of song to song and see how it progresses throughout. I think the arrangement of songs on an album can have a huge impact on how I perceive it.

I'll normally put on an album to listen to a particular song, and end up listening to most of the album.
